3rd Hole - The Baby

The short uphill par three 3rd has changed somewhat over the years. It was once surrounded by four large bunkers to the left and right, front and rear, it was similar to short holes at Sunningdale or Walton Heath and with the addition of the hillside to the right and heather in the carry, it would have provided a visual feast to the discerning golfer.

The dense hillside of rhododendrons to the right and steep bank to the left now provide the greatest challenge, along with the sloping green - a challenging 'up and down' if the green is missed from the tee.
